What would you recommend for a enthusiast photographer ?

Hi

I will be traveling in Chiapas State in Mexico. I am an enthusiast photographer and love to travel always with my camera, i realize that i don't travel for knowing new places, i travel so i can take great pictures (and of course while this happens i get to know incredible places, people, histories etc)

So i have to questions:

a) Where do you recommend for taking pictures in Chiapas and how to get to this places...

b) What photography tips can you tell me.
